New interactive stations to discover

Several brand-new installations are joining our exploration room:

  • OЯTHO: A collaborative game on a touch table, designed to teach mathematics through coordination and joint action. (Partner: Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research – LISER)
  • Shoe Grinder: This station reveals the ubiquity of microplastics caused by the mechanical abrasion of shoe soles and tires, making this everyday wear-and-tear phenomenon visible.
  • Station de tri: An interactive game aimed at raising public awareness about the ecological importance of recycling and the preservation of natural resources.

New Science Shows and Workshops

  • BIOLOGIE / PLANETARIUM – Anatomical Exploration: Hosted in our Planetarium, a spectacular immersion into the heart of the human body awaits our visitors. A fascinating journey providing a better understanding of the essential mechanisms of life. (Co-funded by the André Losch Foundation)
  • BIOLOGIE / WORKSHOP – Medical Imaging: Explore the various imaging techniques used by healthcare professionals. A hands-on focus will be placed on ultrasound and sonography. (Co-funded by the André Losch Foundation)
  • GRAVITATION / SHOW – Free Fall into the World of Gravitation! Journey through the history of gravitation—from Aristotle to Newton and Einstein—and discover how this fundamental force of nature manifests in everyday life, and how to bypass it.

NEW – Temporary Exhibition:

A STORY OF TRASH: “Beyond Consumption”

Until October 31, 2026, dive into an interactive and captivating journey exploring waste, environmental challenges, and circular solutions. The importance of both biological and technological cycles will also be highlighted.

Through objects, installations, and explanatory displays, the exhibition highlights the consequences of linear product design—where items simply become waste without any planning for high-quality resource preservation. As part of this exhibition, our teams have also designed two interactive stations that will later join the Science Center’s exploration hall permanently.

  • In collaboration with the Luxembourg Center of Circular Economy (LCCE) and co-funded by the ROTARY CLUB HORIZON, Luxembourg.
